PRATIKSHA has been started on 27th July 2011 in the city of Bhagalpur, Bihar. Aim of the centre is to serve people in special conditions of hand and foot along with the complete rehabilitation at the community level. The day is not far when India will be relying on the shoulders of disabled youth suffering from diabetic induced foot conditions and trauma induced hand disability.
Bihar still lacks in specialised centres for treating such cases and people move out of the state to get the treatment.
