Being a mental health professional, I empathize with people fighting with mental illness along with the stigma & discrimination they face in society. I understand my responsibility of not only facilitating their healing process but helping them rehabilitate in society with self respect. I believe that media has started playing a strong role by picking the issues of mental health problems and how not only the individual but the family faces the crisis. We still have to work hard in removing the stigma along with building the youth to study & practice mental health to serve the society.
